Paws for the cause!
New York Fashion Week 2015 is in full effect, and Hollywood’s most sought-after designers are presenting their newest collections. But who are their go-to muses? Their pets!
When they’re not sewing or sketching, Karl Lagerfeld, Valentino Garavani, Donna Karan, and Marc Jacobs often share aww-dorable snaps of their favorite furry friends.
Take a look at Us Weekly’s picks, and prepare for an intense round of double-tapping!
Neville, Marc Jacobs’ bull terrier, is one of New York City’s coolest canines. Just check his Instagram for proof — he’s shared a smooch with Hailey Baldwin and even provides a helping hand — err, paw — around dad’s office.
Not your average toddler! Choupette, Karl Lagerfeld’s 4-year-old Birman cat, is known for her massive social media following (69.5K on Instagram, 48.4K on Twitter) and her exclusive “interviews” with various fashion magazines. She even cuddled up with Kendall Jenner in Vogue’s September issue, and was the inspiration behind a limited-edition line of Shu Uemura cosmetics, Shupette.
Proud papas: Valentino Garavani and his partner of over 50 years, Giancarlo Giammetti, often post pics of their popular pups, Mary and Poppy. Poppy (who sips Evian, for the record) counts Anne Hathaway as a friend, and has posed with Giammetti on lavish Spanish vacations. And not to be outdone, Mary’s spent afternoons aboard yachts with her designer dad, and often accompanies him to lavish lunches.
Donna Karan brags about her granddaughter, Stefania, and her adorable grand-dog, Grey, equally. Earlier this year, Grey took his talents to Turks and Caicos where he enjoyed fun in the sun with his family. A dog’s life isn’t so bad, after all!
