A happy anniversary indeed! Jaime King got the best present ever to commemorate her wedded bliss with Kyle Newman. Even though the couple actually walked down the aisle on November 23, 2007, in Beverly Hills, the Hart of Dixie actress, 37, rocked a massive custom-designed Tacori ring on her left hand while running errands in Los Angeles on October 3.
King’s diamond and gold ring features a 3.09-carat marquise-shaped center stone with a gold band sprinkled with 1.02 carats of diamonds, totaling in a 4.11-carat bauble.
According to Tacori, King “designed this custom ring exclusively with the jewelry house in an effort to create an everyday token symbolizing family and strength,” the brand said in an October 5 media alert. “Jaime and Tacori collaborated tirelessly to create a finished piece that, to Jaime, represents her ‘family unit as a whole, standing tall, multidimensional, sparkling and bright with loving and happiness.’”
Each detail of the piece has a special meaning. Per the alert, “the encircling of diamonds represents the infinite circle of our happiness, connection, strength and security that will always come back to the Marquis. That we as a family are together always and forever. And the halo represents the holy nature, each diamond a representation of a moment a memory that makes up the beauty of life.”
The Tacori piece is just the latest addition to King’s glittering collection. When Newman, 40, popped the question in April 2007, he presented his love with a solitaire-shaped diamond set in pavé by Borsheims, a jeweler located in her hometown of Omaha, Nebraska.
