Word to the internet: Your addiction to Sephora is too real.
With the Rio Games set to start in just over a month, the official Olympic Instagram shared a pic of a brand-new bronze medal. But a few beauty junkies confused it for something else entirely.
The snap, which features the pink-tinged medal housed in a wooden case, was shared on Sunday, June 26, with the caption, "Only 40 days to go. #RoadtoRio @rio2016."
Almost immediately, commenters got to work, and the consensus was overwhelming: A bronze medal looks a whole lot like highlighter. Revel in just a few of the responses…
@daddytissucs: "That highlighter is so pretty."
@chloecherry103: "I need this highlighter in my life."
@sairahasanxoxo: "Highlighter be glazin ✨🔥."
@roshaa.a: "This highlighter is brighter than my future."
Even the one woman who learned the truth couldn't help but sympathize with her fellow makeup addicts:
@oaklland: "I thought this was a highlighter…I have problems."
But, let's be honest, the international sports competition is here for the beauty lovers! Check out this photo the Olympics page shared featuring a young girl with her hair braided into the organization's iconic rings:
