Zefron’s trip to the Olympics was truly everything! As we all know, Zac Efron flew to Rio de Janeiro last week to meet his biggest fan, Simone Biles (i.e., just the most decorated U.S. gymnast of all time). What we couldn’t have predicted? That he’d find his Olympic doppelgänger too!

The Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising star, 28, met American diver Michael Hixon — who shares the same high cheekbones, prominent dimples and all-American smile as the actor — on Thursday, August 18. And yes, even he couldn’t deny the resemblance.
Efron snapped a pic with his doppelgänger, offering it to the world via Instagram that same day. “My Brotha from anotha 🇺🇸😜,” Efron captioned the photos. Saluting Hixon, 22, on his silver medal in the synchronized 3m springboard, he added, “Congrats #MichaelHixon #Rio2016.”

The High School Musical alum has been a model Olympic fan since arriving in Brazil on Tuesday. Not only did he surprise Biles and the “Final Five” ladies on the Today show, kissing her on the cheek and bringing our Biles-Efron shipping fantasies to life, but he also shared photos of himself enthusiastically taking in various competitions, including the race in which Usain Bolt scored his third gold medal of the Games.
