One month after Uma Thurman welcomed a baby girl, the Smash guest star, 42, gave the first glimpse of her pride and joy in the streets of New York City August 17.
Thurman has yet to disclose her daughter's name publicly. This is the first child for the actress and her financier boyfriend, Arpad Busson, 49. Thurman and ex-husband Ethan Hawke, 41, have two children: Maya, 13, and Levon, 10.
Oscar-nominated Thurman and Busson began dating in 2007, but called off their engagement in 2009; They reunited in 2011.
"Uma was definitely not planning on having another kid," a source said when Us broke the news of her pregnancy in February. "It was a surprise, but she's over the moon about it. Very excited."
Thurman most recently appeared on the big screen in the period drama Bel Ami, costarring Robert Pattinson, 26, Christina Ricci, 32, and Kristin Scott Thomas, 52. Her new movie, Playing for Keeps, is slated for a December 7 release. Directed by Gabriele Muccino, the film also stars Jessica Biel, 30, Gerard Butler, 42, Catherine Zeta-Jones, 42, Dennis Quaid, 58, and Judy Greer, 37.
