Gerard Butler is giving audiences six more reasons to see Playing for Keeps this winter — courtesy of his washboard abs!
Film District has just released a movie still of the buff actor, 43, wearing nothing but a wet towel. "It's not hard to stay in shape," the Scotsman, who's dating Russian lingerie model Madalina Ghenea, told Us Weekly in 2011. "It's hard to be in really good shape!"

To stay fit, the Scotsman told Us he began doing "a lot of cardio" and "stopped lifting big weights." He also started "watching what I eat" and practicing yoga regularly.
In the romantic comedy, Butler plays a down-on-his luck ex-soccer star who returns home to reconnect with his young son. To do so, he ends up coaching the boy's soccer team.
Directed by Gabriele Muccino, Playing for Keeps also stars Jessica Biel, Uma Thurman, Catherine Zeta-Jones and Dennis Quaid. It hits theaters Dec. 7.
