After announcing her plans to divorce husband James Keach after 20 years back in April, Jane Seymour decided it was time for a makeover. At the Hollywood premiere of Thanks for Sharing, starring Gwyneth Paltrow and Mark Ruffalo, on Monday, Sept. 16, the 62-year-old British actress told Us Weekly she got a dramatic new look — without going under the knife!
"I cut bangs," she told Us. "I went [makes cutting noise] right across."
"It's been a few months now," Seymour explained of the haircut. "But it changed my life — cut bangs, cut my hair a little bit shorter." She added, "I had side bangs forever. [Now] I have full bangs."
The Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman star also revealed that her new hairstyle is a good alternative to anti-aging treatments. "Since I'm not a Botox babe, you know, bangs work," Seymour said.
When does she feel her strongest and most confident? "When I feel loved," Seymour said.
The actress has had a rough past few months after confirming in April that she and actor-director husband Keach have split. "Jane Seymour and James Keach confirm that they are separated and have been for several months," the couple said in a statement to Us at the time. "At this time they are negotiating the terms of their divorce."
Seymour has been married four times. She shares 17-year-old twin sons John and Kristopher with Keach, and daughter Katherine, 31, and son Sean, 28, with ex-husband David Flynn.
