So this is what an office party looks like on the set of Modern Family! The cast and crew gathered on Sept. 5 to celebrate the ABC sitcom's 100th episode, and star Jesse Tyler Ferguson documented the bash on Vine.
A huge three-tiered cake and flutes of Champagne can be seen in the background as an exec speaks into a mic to address the cast and crew. And what are the actors doing during the speech? Mugging for Ferguson's camera, of course!
In the clip, many of the stars from the show, which has won three consecutive Emmys for top comedy series and is up again this year for the honor, flash a smile for Ferguson — including Julie Bowen, Sarah Hyland, Ariel Winter, and Ty Burrell. Also popping up on screen — Sofia Vergara, who tops Forbes' list of highest-paid prime-time TV stars for the second year in a row.
Ferguson, who plays Mitch on the series, also took to Twitter to celebrate the milestone. He wrote, "I don't know how our writers do it. Today we read #ModernFamily’s 100th episode. It's one if the best ones yet!!!!"
The sitcom returns to television on Wednesday, Sept. 25, at 9 pm EST.
