Looks like Josh Brolin and Diane Lane can officially, legally move on with their lives. The former couple's divorce has just been finalized in L.A., TMZ reported on Monday, Dec. 2.
According to documents filed in L.A. County Superior Court on Nov. 27 and obtained by TMZ, Brolin and Lane came to a private financial agreement, and she will not be seeking spousal support from her ex. Nor will she be keeping his name; the Cinema Verite actress, 48, has reportedly dropped "Brolin" from her legal name.
Married for eight years, the pair told Us Weekly exclusively in February that they had decided to go their separate ways. "It was a mutual decision," an insider said at the time. "It is very amicable. It's not ugly, it's just over."
This is the second divorce for both stars. Lane was previously wed to actor Christopher Lambert, with whom she has a daughter, Eleanor. And Brolin was married to actress Alice Adair, the mother of his two kids, Trevor and Eden.
As Us exclusively reported last month, the Gangster Squad actor, 45, recently checked into rehab for substance abuse issues. "He realized he needed help and is committed to his sobriety," an insider told Us.
