
Diane Lane
Diane Lane is an actress known for her roles in Unfaithful (2002), Under the Tuscan Sun (2003) and more. Lane spent her childhood in New York City and began acting at a young age. She attended Hunter College High School before pursuing a full-time career in Hollywood.
The actress made her film debut in A Little Romance (1979) and gained recognition in the 1980s with roles in The Outsiders (1983) and Rumble Fish (1983). She later transitioned into more mature roles, earning an Academy Award nomination for Best Actress for her role in the film Unfaithful (2002). She also starred in Under the Tuscan Sun (2003), Hollywoodland (2006) and Secretariat (2010). She became known to a new generation of fans as Martha Kent in the Superman film Man of Steel (2013) and its sequels.
In 2024, she signed on to the cast of Hulu’s Feud, and she landed a recurring role on Netflix’s A Man in Full that same year.
Lane has also done voice acting, lending her voice to movies such as Inside Out (2015).
The Oscar nominee was married to Christopher Lambert from 1988 to 1994, and they share daughter Eleanor (born in 1993). In 2004, she wed Josh Brolin; the couple divorced in 2013.
