Brad Pitt

Born in Oklahoma and raised in Missouri, Brad Pitt left college just two weeks short of earning his degree to move to Los Angeles and pursue acting. He gained widespread attention for his supporting role in Thelma & Louise in 1991 and soon became one of Hollywood’s most desirable leading men.

Pitt appeared in numerous hit films throughout the 1990s and early 2000s, including Seven, 12 Monkeys, Fight Club, Ocean’s Eleven, Mr. & Mrs. Smith, The Departed and The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. In 2001, he founded a production company called Plan B Entertainment with his wife at the time, Jennifer Aniston.

He went on to star in a number of critically acclaimed films and box office hits, many of which he produced, including Inglourious Basterds, Moneyball, World War Z, 12 Years a Slave, The Big Short, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, Bullet Train and Babylon. Over the years, Pitt has won two Academy Awards, two Golden Globe Awards and two Screen Actors Guild Awards.

Pitt was romantically linked to many of his former costars, including Jill Schoelen, Juliette Lewis, Geena Davis and Gwyneth Paltrow, before he married Aniston in 2000. His romantic life sparked a frenzy in 2005 when he and Aniston called it quits after five years of marriage. He subsequently moved on with Mr. & Mrs. Smith costar Angelina Jolie.

Known as “Brangelina,” Pitt and Jolie got married in 2014. They share six children, three of whom they adopted. Jolie filed for divorce from Pitt in September 2016, which sparked a lengthy legal battle over custody of their minor children. The drama continued when Jolie accused Pitt of being “physically and emotionally abusive,” which he denied, and when Pitt sued his ex-wife over ownership of their stake in Château Miraval.

Us confirmed in August 2020 that Pitt was dating German model Nicole Poturalski, but the pair called it quits two months later. He briefly dated Emily Ratajkowski in 2022 before moving on with Ines de Ramon.
