Emily Ratajkowski

Emily Ratajkowski is a model, actress and author known for her high-profile fashion career, acting roles and outspoken presence in pop culture. Ratajkowski was born in London and raised in Encinitas, California. She attended San Dieguito Academy before enrolling at the University of California, Los Angeles, where she briefly studied fine arts before leaving school to pursue modeling full-time.

Ratajkowski began modeling as a teenager but rose to international fame in 2013 after appearing in Robin Thicke’s music video for “Blurred Lines.” The viral video significantly boosted her profile and led to magazine covers and runway appearances for major fashion brands. She soon transitioned into acting, landing roles in films including Gone Girl (2010) alongside Ben Affleck and We Are Your Friends (2015) with Zac Efron. She later expanded into writing with her 2021 essay collection, My Body, which explored her experiences with fame and the modeling industry. Ratajkowski has also launched fashion projects, including her swimwear line, Inamorata.

Ratajkowski married film producer Sebastian Bear-McClard in February 2018. The couple welcomed their first child, son Sylvester Apollo Bear, in 2021. The pair divorced in 2022. In 2025, she moved on with director Romain Gavras.
