Julia Fox

Julia Fox is an Italian-American actress, model and writer known for her breakout role in Uncut Gems. Fox was born in Milan, where she spent part of her childhood before moving to Manhattan and attending City-As-School High School. Before acting, she worked in fashion and art, cofounding a women’s knitwear line and becoming involved in New York’s creative scene. She was also briefly a dominatrix.

Fox began her career in modeling and independent film before landing her breakout role opposite Adam Sandler in Uncut Gems (2019). Her performance earned critical attention and led to later opportunities in film and media. She has since appeared in projects including PVT Chat (2020), No Sudden Move (2021), Puppet (2022) and The Trainer (2024) while also building a presence as a writer and social media personality. In 2023, she published her memoir, Down the Drain (2023).

In 2026, she appeared in the films The Moment and Perfect.

Fox was married to pilot Peter Artemiev from 2018 to 2020. She welcomed their son, Valentino, in 2021. She later made headlines for her brief relationship with Kanye West in early 2022.
