Kim Kardashian is a reality tv star, entrepreneur and member of the famed Kardashian family. Kim was born to parents Robert and Kris Kardashian, raised in Los Angeles alongside siblings Kourtney, Khloé and Rob. Her father, who first made headlines as one of O.J. Simpson’s head trial lawyers, raised the family’s public profile amid the former NFL player’s infamous 1995 murder trial. Rob died in 2003 after a short battle with esophageal cancer. Kris eventually moved on with Olympian Caitlyn Jenner, who came out as trans one month after the pair’s 2015 divorce.

In 2007, Kim made headlines after her sex tape with then-boyfriend rapper Ray J surfaced online. That same year, the family became the subject of the hit E! reality TV show Keeping Up With the Kardashians, which documented the lives of her parents and siblings, as well as stepparent Caitlyn and stepsisters Kendall and Kylie Jenner. The show launched the family into extraordinary fame as it delved into their personal lives and chronicled the sisters’ work on their co-owned clothing store, Dash. The show ended in 2021, and the family began starring on the Hulu series The Kardashians the following year.

Kim has also launched multiple successful businesses, including her own makeup line, KKW Beauty, and Skims, a shapewear and underwear line. Following in her late father’s footsteps, she also began reading law in preparation for the bar exam and has demonstrated a passion for criminal justice over the years.

She has been linked to multiple stars over the years. She was briefly wed to Kris Humphries before moving on with Kanye West in 2014. The pair share four children: daughter North (born in 2013), son Saint (born in 2015), daughter Chicago (born in 2018, via surrogate) and son Psalm (born in 2019, via surrogate). Kim filed for divorce in February 2021, and their divorce was finalized the following year. She later moved on with comedian Pete Davidson from 2021 to 2022. In 2026, she began dating F1 driver Lewis Hamilton.
