Cameron Diaz

Cameron Diaz is an American actress and entrepreneur best known for her roles in blockbuster comedies and action films. Diaz spent her early years in Long Beach, California, where she attended Long Beach Polytechnic High School. She picked up modeling as a teenager, signing with Elite Model Management at age 16 and appearing on the cover of Seventeen Magazine the following year.

Diaz made her film debut opposite Jim Carrey in The Mask (1994), which quickly established her as a rising star. She followed with roles in My Best Friend’s Wedding (1997) and There’s Something About Mary (1998), the latter becoming a major commercial success and cementing her status as a leading comedic actress. Over the years, she has earned Golden Globe nominations for her performances in films including Being John Malkovich (1999), Vanilla Sky (2001) and Gangs of New York (2002).

Her filmography includes hits such as Charlie’s Angels (2000), The Holiday (2006) and Bad Teacher (2011). Diaz became one of Hollywood’s highest-paid actresses at her peak and later stepped back from acting following the release of Annie (2014), focusing on wellness ventures including her wine brand, Avaline. She returned to the screen in 2025 for Back in Action.

Diaz married Benji Madden in 2015. The couple welcomed daughter Raddix in 2019 via surrogate. They welcomed a son, Cardinal, in 2024.
