Christina Applegate

Christina Applegate is an Emmy-winning actress best known for her roles in television comedies and dramas. Applegate was raised in Los Angeles and began her onscreen career acting alongside her mother, Nancy Priddy. As a child actress, she appeared in commercials and small television roles before expanding her portfolio.

Applegate rose to fame as Kelly Bundy on the long-running sitcom Married… with Children, which aired from 1987 to 1997. The role made her a household name and led to a successful transition into film and television. She later starred in Jesse from 1998 to 2000 and later earned critical acclaim for her guest role on Friends, which won her a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Comedy Series.

Her notable credits include The Sweetest Thing (2002), Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy (2004), Samantha Who? and Dead to Me, receiving multiple Golden Globe and Emmy nominations for the latter two roles.

Applegate was previously married to actor Johnathon Schaech from 2001 to 2007. She later married musician Martyn LeNoble in 2013. The couple share one daughter, Sadie (born in 2011).
