Lea Michele

Lea Michele began her career as a child actor on Broadway, making her stage debut in Les Miserables at age 8. Michele originated the role of Wendla in the Tony-winning musical Spring Awakening before going on to star as Rachel Berry on Ryan Murphy’s hit show Glee from 2009 to 2015.

Michele received two Golden Globe nominations and an Emmy nomination for her work on Glee. Following the show’s 2015 finale, Michele briefly starred on Fox’s Scream Queens and ABC’s The Mayor.

Michele made her feature film debut in 2011’s New Year’s Eve. She released both her debut solo album, Louder, and her memoir, Brunette Ambition, in 2014. Michele went on to release albums Places and Christmas in the City in 2017 and 2019, respectively. She made her return to Broadway in 2022, replacing Beanie Feldstein as Fanny Brice in Funny Girl.

The singer dated her Glee costar Cory Monteith until his death in July 2013. Four years later, Michele sparked a romance with longtime friend Zandy Reich. The couple got engaged in April 2018 and wed in Napa, California, the following year. Their son, Ever, arrived in August 2020.
