Drew Barrymore

Drew Barrymore’s acting career took off at age 6 when she starred in Steven Spielberg’s 1982 film E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial.

Following a brief rehab stint at age 13, Barrymore became emancipated from her parents at age 15. She went on to found her Flower Films production company in 1995 and starred as Casey Becker in the 1996 horror film Scream. Some of Barrymore’s most memorable credits include The Wedding Singer (1998), Never Been Kissed (1999), Charlie’s Angels (2000), Donnie Darko (2001), Riding in Cars with Boys (2001), 50 First Dates (2004), Fever Pitch (2005), He’s Just Not That Into You (2009) and Blended (2014).

Barrymore won a Screen Actors Guild Award and a Golden Globe Award for her role in the 2009 film Grey Gardens. She produced and starred in the Netflix series Santa Clarita Diet for three seasons from 2017 to 2019. Her Daytime Emmy-winning syndicated talk show, The Drew Barrymore Show, debuted in 2020.

Barrymore was briefly engaged to Jamie Walters in 1993 and was married to Los Angeles bar owner Jeremy Thomas for two months in 1994. She moved on with Tom Green, to whom she was married from July 2001 to October 2002. Barrymore was married to art consultant Will Kopelman, with whom she shares daughters Olive and Frankie, from 2012 to 2016.
