Kyle Richards

Kyle Richards is a television personality, actress and entrepreneur best known for her longtime role on Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. She is the sister of Kim Richards and half-sister of Kathy Hilton and the aunt of Paris Hilton. Richards began acting as a child, focusing on building her career in film and television throughout her teenage years and into adulthood.

Richards launched her career in the 1970s, landing her first recurring role on Little House on the Prairie. She continued acting steadily with parts in films including Halloween (1978), The Watcher in the Woods (1980) and Curfew (1989). Her profile rose significantly in 2010 when she joined the original cast of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, which brought her widespread recognition and made her one of the franchise’s longest-running stars. She has also published a memoir about her experiences as a reality TV star, titled Life Is Not a Reality Show (2011).

Beyond reality TV, Richards has appeared in later projects including Halloween Kills (2021) and has pursued business ventures in fashion. She has also participated in various television projects and reunions tied to her earlier acting work.

Richards married Guraish Aldjufrie in 1988 and welcomed daughter Farrah (born 1988) before their divorce in 1992. She later wed Mauricio Umansky in 1996, and they share three daughters: Alexia (born in 1996), Sophia (born in 2000) and Portia (born in 2008). The pair announced their separation in 2023.
