Travis Barker

The former Blink-182 drummer was born in 1975 in Fontana, Calif. He began taking drum lessons at age five, but it wasn’t until the death of his mother during his freshman year of high school that he started taking drumming seriously.

Barker joined his school’s marching band and later toured with several small bands after high school. He joined the rock trio Blink-182 in 1998 as a replacement for the group’s original drummer. After three successful albums, the band parted ways in 2005.

Barker later appeared in MTV’s Meet the Barkers, a candid look at his life with ex wife and Miss USA winner Shanna Moakler. In September 2008, Barker was seriously injured when his plane ran off a South Carolina runway during takeoff and crashed. Barker and pal DJ AM — the only survivors out of the six onboard — were able to jump to safety, suffering severe burns in the wake of the fiery crash.

The performer has a son, Landon, and daughter, Alabama, from his marriage to Moakler.

Barker began dating Kourtney Kardashian in early 2021 and Us confirmed the pair’s engagement that October. After a “practice” Las Vegas wedding ceremony without a marriage license in April 2022, Kardashian and Barker legally married in a courthouse wedding in May 2022, Us confirmed.
