Taylor Momsen

Taylor Momsen is an American musician and actress best known first for her childhood acting roles and later as the lead vocalist of the rock band The Pretty Reckless. Momsen was raised in St. Louis, Missouri, alongside her sister, Sloane Momsen. She began dancing as a child and was signed to a modeling agency by age 2.

Momsen’s early career started with appearances in national commercials at age 3, followed by her film debut soon after. Her breakout role came in 2000 when she portrayed Cindy Lou Who in How the Grinch Stole Christmas. She went on to land roles in We Were Soldiers (2002), Saving Shiloh (2006) and Paranoid Park (2007). As a teenager, she gained widespread attention for her performance as Jenny Humphrey on the teen drama Gossip Girl, where she remained a cast member until 2010.

Momsen shifted her focus to music in 2009 after forming the band The Pretty Reckless with Ben Philips, Mark Damon and Jamie Perkins. The group landed a record deal with Interscope Records and has released four studio albums, including the commercial hit Going to Hell (2014).

Momsen remains largely private about her dating life and has not publicly confirmed any long-term relationships.
