Gigi Hadid

Gigi Hadid is an American supermodel known for her high-fashion runway work, major brand campaigns and frequent appearances on international Vogue covers. Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, Gigi is the daughter of former model and The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Yolanda Hadid and real estate developer Mohamed Hadid. She was raised in Malibu alongside siblings Bella Hadid and Anwar Hadid, who also pursued modeling careers. As a student at Malibu High School, she competed in varsity volleyball and was a competitive horseback rider. After graduating in 2013, she moved to New York City and enrolled at The New School to study criminal psychology, later pausing her studies to pursue modeling full time.

Gigi began her modeling career as a child after she was discovered by Guess cofounder Paul Marciano and appeared in Baby Guess campaigns as a toddler. She returned to model for Guess in 2012 and signed with IMG Models the following year. Her breakthrough came in 2014 when she walked for Desigual at New York Fashion Week. As her profile grew, she became a regular on international runways and in major fashion campaigns, including for brands like Tom Ford, Isabel Marant and Balmain.

Throughout her career, Gigi has walked in the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show and appeared on various Vogue covers internationally. In 2016, she was named International Model of the Year at the British Fashion Awards, cementing her status as one of the industry’s top models.

Hadid has been romantically linked to Cody Simpson, Joe Jonas and Zayn Malik. She and Malik welcomed daughter Khai in 2020 before splitting the following year. She began dating actor Bradley Cooper in 2023.
