Denise Richards

Denise Richards is an actress, model and reality TV personality best known for starring in Starship Troopers, Wild Things, The World Is Not Enough and The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Richards was born in Downers Grove, Illinois, and was raised in both Illinois and California. She graduated from El Camino High School in Oceanside, California, before pursuing modeling, which led to commercial work and various acting opportunities.

Richards began her career with guest roles on several television series, including Saved by the Bell, Married… with Children and Beverly Hills, 90210. Her breakthrough role came in 1997 with Starship Troopers, followed by 1998’s Wild Things. She reached an even wider audience when she played Bond girl Christmas Jones opposite Pierce Brosnan in The World Is Not Enough (1999), cementing her status as a Hollywood star.

In addition to her film career, Richards has appeared in Drop Dead Gorgeous (1999), Scary Movie 3 (2003), Blue Mountain State and the soap opera The Bold and the Beautiful. She later joined The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, later appearing throughout its later seasons as a guest. She returned to reality TV in 2025 with Denise Richards & Her Wild Things.

Richards married Charlie Sheen in 2002, and they welcomed daughters Sami Sheen (born in 2004) and Lola Sheen (born in 2005) before divorcing in 2006. She adopted daughter Eloise Joni Richards (born in 2011) as a single mother in 2011. Richards married Aaron Phypers in 2018. Phypers adopted Eloise in 2019. The couple separated after Phypers filed for divorce in 2025.
