Jennifer Aniston

Jennifer Aniston is an Emmy-winning actress best known for her iconic role as Rachel Green on Friends. Born to actors John Aniston and Nancy Dow, Jennifer spent her childhood in New York City and attended LaGuardia High School of Music and Art and Performing Arts. After graduating, she chose to follow in her parents’ footsteps, pursuing acting full time.

Jennifer first appeared in off-Broadway productions including For Dear Life before landing her first onscreen roles in the late ’80s and early ’90s. She boasts early appearances in Mac and Me, Molloy and Camp Cucamonga (1990). In 1994, she was cast as Rachel Green on NBC’s Friends, acting alongside Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry and David Schwimmer. The show aired for 10 seasons until 2004, becoming one of the most popular sitcoms worldwide and earning her an Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series.

The actress later expanded her footprint in film, acting in movies including Derailed (2005), The Break-Up (2006), Management (2008) and Love Happens (2009) throughout the early 2000s. In 2019, she joined the cast of The Morning Show as Alex Levy. Some of her later roles include Murder Mystery (2019) and its sequel, and Out of My Mind (2024).

The actress was previously married to Brad Pitt and Justin Theroux. In 2025, she began dating personal trainer Jim Curtis.
