About
Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon produce and star in The Morning Show, a hit drama inspired by Brian Stelter’s 2013 book, Top of the Morning: Inside the Cutthroat World of Morning TV.
Aniston plays Alex Levy, cohost of The Morning Show at UBA network. When her cohost Mitch Kessler (Steve Carell) is fired amid a sexual misconduct scandal, Alex is paired with up-and-coming anchor Bradley Jackson (Witherspoon). Alex tries to keep herself afloat while Bradley’s impulsive decision-making increasingly threatens the network.
The series also features Billy Crudup as Cory Ellison, Mark Duplass as Chip Black, Nestor Carbonell as Yanko Flores, Karen Pittman as Mia Jordan, Greta Lee as Stella Bak and Julianna Margulies as Laura Peterson. Season 3 brought on Jon Hamm as tech exec Paul Marks.
The Morning Show premiered in 2021 and was renewed for season 4 in 2023.
