Julianna Margulies is best known for portraying Carol Hathaway on NBC’s ER, which earned her Emmy, Golden Globe and SAG Awards. Margulies went on to star as Alicia Florrick on CBS’ The Good Wife, garnering additional Emmy, Golden Globe and SAG Awards. She also appeared on The Sopranos, The Hot Zone and The Morning Show. Margulies held starring roles in the films Dinosaur (2000), Ghost Ship (2002), Snakes On a Plane (2006), Stand Up Guys (2012) and The Upside (2017).

Marguiles previously dated actor Ron Eldard from 1991 to 2003. She married attorney Keith Lieberthal in 2007, and the two welcomed son Kieran Lindsay in January 2008.
