Emma Stone

Emma Stone is an Academy Award-winning actress known for her leading roles in critically acclaimed and commercially successful films including La La Land and Poor Things. Stone was raised in Scottsdale, Arizona, where she attended Sequoya Elementary School and later Xavier College Preparatory before leaving high school during her junior year to pursue acting full time. She later completed her education through homeschooling.

Stone began her career with various television appearances, including a short-lived role on Drive and guest spots on several series. Her film breakthrough came in 2007 with the teen comedy Superbad, which brought her mainstream attention. She quickly built momentum with roles in The House Bunny (2008) and Zombieland (2009), establishing herself as a rising star in Hollywood.

Her career reached a new level with her starring role in Easy A (2010), which earned her a Golden Globe nomination for Best Actress in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy. Stone went on to appear in The Help (2011), Birdman (2014) and La La Land (2016), winning the Academy Award for Best Actress for the latter. She has since earned additional Oscar recognition for The Favourite (2018) and won her second Academy Award for Best Actress for Poor Things (2023).

Stone tied the knot with Dave McCary in 2020. The couple share one daughter, Louise Jean (born in 2021). She was previously romantically linked to Andrew Garfield and Kieran Culkin.
