Margot Robbie

Margot Robbie is an Australian actress and producer known for her versatile roles in both blockbuster films and critically acclaimed projects. She first rose to international fame with her breakout role in The Wolf of Wall Street (2013), where her performance as Naomi Lapaglia earned her widespread recognition.

Robbie quickly became a sought-after talent in the film industry, with standout performances in Suicide Squad (2016), where she portrayed the iconic Harley Quinn, and I, Tonya (2017), which earned her an Academy Award nomination for Best Actress for her performance as ice skater Tonya Harding.

In addition to her acting career, Margot Robbie is a successful producer. She co founded the production company LuckyChap Entertainment, which has produced a number of films, some of which she hasn’t starred in, including Promising Young Woman (2020) and Saltburn (2023). However, Robbie made a big splash as a producer when she took over the movie rights to Barbie, bringing on Greta Gerwig to write and direct and starring in the movie herself. The Oscar-nominated comedy ultimately brought in more than $1.4 billion at the worldwide box office, cementing Robbie as a gifted producer.

Margot is married to filmmaker Tom Ackerley, one of her LuckyChap co founders, and the couple welcomed their first child together in 2024.
