Renee Zellweger

Born to Swiss and Norwegian parents, Zellweger has played baby-faced, bubbly girl-next-door roles for the duration of her career to great success—from Jerry Maguire to the Bridget Jones movies.

She won a Best Supporting Actress Oscar for her performance in 2003’s Cold Moutain, and was nominated for a Golden Glove for her portrayal of the famed children’s book author Beatrix Potter in the 2006 film Miss Potter. She took a six-year hiatus starting in 2010, returning in 2016’s Bridget Jones’s Baby. She won her second Oscar in 2020 for Judy.

Her various loves have been high-profile and eclectic. Reportedly, Zellweger dated George Clooney in the early ’90s, before Jim Carrey won her over during filming of Me, Myself & Irene. She also dated the White Stripes’ guitarist Jack White in 2003, before marrying country singer Kenny Chesney in 2005. The unlikely duo’s quickie marriage was annulled in less than six months. She began dating her Case 39 costar Bradley Cooper in July 2009; they split in March 2011.

Renee began dating Ant Anstead, an English TV presenter, in June 2021.
