Emma Watson
Emma Watson was born in Paris before moving to Oxford, England, as a toddler. The actress is best known for portraying Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter film series, a role she secured at 10 years old in 2000. She appeared in all eight movies until they concluded in 2011.
Following Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2, Watson starred alongside Eddie Redmayne in My Week with Marilyn (2011) and in the 2012 film adaptation of The Perks of Being a Wallflower. She went on to star as Belle in 2017’s Beauty and the Beast and as Meg in Greta Gerwig’s 2019 Little Women adaptation.
Watson continued her education and graduated from Brown University in 2014 with a bachelor’s degree in English literature. She was appointed a UN Women Goodwill Ambassador that same year and helped launch the HeForShe campaign, which advocates for gender equality. She joined the board of directors for Kering in 2020, advocating for sustainable fashion, and enrolled at Oxford University in 2023 for a master’s degree in creative writing. She and her brother, Alex Watson, launched Renais Gin.
