Kristen Stewart started her acting career at just 8 years old before nabbing her breakout role in David Fincher’s 2002 thriller, Panic Room, as Jodie Foster’s daughter.

Following a stream of moderately successful films followed, Stewart was cast as Bella Swan in the movie adaptation of the Twilight books. She appeared alongside Robert Pattinson in the five-part film saga from 2008 to 2012.

Stewart continued to land major roles after her final Twilight Saga movie, playing Snow White in 2012’s Snow White & the Huntsman and Sabina in 2019’s Charlie’s Angels. She made her directorial debut in 2017 with the short film Come Swim and earned critical acclaim for her work in 2014’s Still Alice, 2015’s Anesthesia and 2019’s Seberg. Stewart portrayed Princess Diana in 2020’s Spencer, earning her nominations for Best Actress at the Academy Awards and Golden Globe Awards.

While working together on the Twilight series, Stewart sparked a romance with Pattinson. The twosome dated from 2009 to 2013. She went on to date producer Alicia Cargile, musician St. Vincent and model Stella Maxwell before going Instagram official with writer and actress Dylan Meyer in 2019. The pair announced their engagement in 2021 and got married in April 2025.
