Kate Gosselin

Kate Gosselin is a television personality best known for starring in the reality series Jon & Kate Plus 8. Gosselin was born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and worked as a registered nurse before her rise to fame. She attended Reading Hospital and Medical Center, where she became a labor and delivery nurse prior to starting her family.

Gosselin’s life changed when she and then-husband Jon Gosselin welcomed sextuplets in 2004 after previously having twin daughters. Their large family became the focus of the TLC reality series Jon & Kate Plus 8, which premiered in 2007, and quickly became one of the network’s most-watched shows. Following her divorce in 2009, the series was rebranded as Kate Plus 8 as she continued to document her life as a single mother. She later made appearances on various reality shows, including Dancing with the Stars, Celebrity Apprentice and Kate Plus Date.

Gosselin shares eight children with Jon: twins Cara and Mady (born in 2000) and sextuplets Alexis, Hannah, Aaden, Collin, Leah and Joel (born in 2004).
