Jax Taylor was a cast member on Vanderpump Rules from its first season in 2013 until he left with his then-wife, Brittany Cartwright, in 2020. He and Brittany also starred on Vanderpump Rules: Jax & Brittany Take Kentucky in 2017, later returning to reality TV on The Valley in 2024.

Jax and Brittany have had their ups and downs through the years. The pair tied the knot in 2019 and welcomed son Cruz in April 2021. One year after launching their “When Reality Hits” podcast in 2023, Brittany announced her separation from Jax. In August 2024, Brittany officially filed for divorce. That same month, Jax completed a 30-day mental health treatment program.

In 2025, he launched his “In the Mind of a Man” podcast and admitted he was recovering from a cocaine addiction.
