Hilary Duff

Hilary Duff earned her status as a teen idol after portraying the titular character on the Disney Channel show Lizzie McGuire from 2001 to 2004 and starring in films such as Cadet Kelly (2002), The Lizzie McGuire Movie (2003), Agent Cody Banks (2003), Cheaper by the Dozen (2003) and A Cinderella Story (2004). Her sister, Haylie, is also an actress, and the sisters collaborated on the 2006 film Material Girls.

Duff also found success in music in the early aughts with her pop albums Metamorphosis (2003), Hilary Duff (2004) and Dignity (2007). Continuing on to more mature projects on the small screen, Duff earned a recurring role on Gossip Girl in 2009 and starred on the TV Land series Younger from 2015 to 2021. She produced and starred on Hulu’s How I Met Your Father for two seasons from 2022 to 2023.

After ending her two-and-a-half year relationship with Good Charlotte frontman Joel Madden, Duff wed NHL star Mike Comrie in August 2010. They welcomed their son, Luca, in March 2012 but split in 2014. Duff later met singer Matthew Koma when they collaborated on her album Breathe In. Breathe Out. In October 2018, Duff and Koma welcomed daughter Banks Violet. The couple got married in a low-key backyard ceremony in December 2019 and welcomed their second daughter, Mae James, in March 2021. Duff and Koma welcomed daughter Townes in May 2024.
