Kevin Costner

Kevin Costner starred in the films The Big Chill (1983) and Fandango (1985) before landing the lead role of Ray Kinsella in Field of Dreams (1989). He directed and starred in Dances With Wolves a year later, earning Oscars for Best Picture and Best Director and his first Golden Globe Award. Costner went on to star in the films JFK (1991), Waterworld (1995), Thirteen Days (2000), The Company Men (2010), Hidden Figures (2016) and Let Him Go (2020).

The actor won an Emmy, Golden Globe and SAG Award for his portrayal of Devil Anse Hatfield in the miniseries Hatfields & McCoys (2012). Since 2018, Costner has starred as John Dutton on the Paramount Network series Yellowstone, earning another Golden Globe in 2023.

Costner was married to Cindy Silva from 1978 to 1994. The exes share three children: Annie (born in 1984), Lily (born in 1986) and Joe (born in 1988). Costner started dating Bridget Rooney in 1994, welcoming son Liam in 1996 before splitting two years later. Costner married his second wife, Christine Baumgartner, in 2004. The couple share three children: Cayden (born in 2007), Hayes (born in 2009) and Grace (born in 2010). Baumgartner filed for divorce in May 2023 after nearly 19 years of marriage, and the proceedings were finalized in February 2024.
