For two decades now, Jennifer Aniston has been known for her hair, particularly the “Rachel” cut she sported on Friends.
However, the actress, 45, made headlines when she admitted back in August 2013 during a radio interview on The Kyle and Jackie O Show, she’d rather “shave her head” than sport that cut again. Now, the We’re The Millers actress is opening up about which movie role hairstyles she actually did like!
“I loved my hair in Along Came Polly,” she said during the WWD Beauty CEO Summit in Palm Beach, Fla. on Thursday, May 8. “Dr. Julia from Horrible Bosses—I loved that. That was fun, glamorous.”
In Along Came Polly, where she starred opposite Ben Stiller, Aniston donned long, wavy dark blonde hair with light highlights and a middle part. As for her character in Horrible Bosses, where she played a less-than-professional dentist who repeatedly hit on her assistant, the actress rocked sexy, long dark tresses, and even bangs!
And while much has been said about her latest style—a brown, chic short bob—Aniston doesn’t consider it a “new look.”
“Well it’s not,” she laughed during the summit. “I just wrapped a movie [Cake] … It was basically for that … But I actually like it. This is how god created me.”
The co-owner of hair care line Living Proof went on to admit she hasn’t always been fond of her hair though.
“As a child [my hair], was problem hair,” she laughed. “But … you sit in enough chairs with enough of these amazing, creative hairstylists and you start to learn how to manage it and now thanks to Living Proof it’s even easier.”
