Looking good, newlywed! Brad Pitt and his Fury cast recently sent a message of support to Prince Harry and competitors before the start of the royal’s Invictus Games. The video was most likely taped on the same day news broke of his marriage to longtime love Angelina Jolie.
“Having played a tank crew, we want to show our support for the Invictus Games and our wounded warriors,” Pitt said, who was also joined by costars Logan Lerman, Jon Bernthal and director David Ayer. Pitt wore a leather jacket, blue jeans, and placed his wedding ring hand behind Bernthal’s back.
“It’s going to be a really inspirational event,” Lerman added. “So we hope everyone will get behind us for the Invictus Games.”
Prince Harry officially launched the UK version of the Invictus Games in March, which is a Paralympic-style sporting event specifically geared toward competitions for injured servicemen and women. The redheaded Brit first was inspired by the US version, The Warrior Games, in May 2013.
Pitt was on hand on the same day of his taping to attend a photo call for his WWII film at the Bovington Tank Museum in Dorset, England on Aug. 28, where he sported his new ring for the first time. The actor and Jolie secretly tied the knot at Chateau Miraval, their private estate with their six children by their side on Aug. 23.
