Reruns of 7th Heaven have been pulled from UP TV following reports that its star Stephen Collins is being investigated for child molestation.
"As a top family-friendly network, we are deeply concerned for the families that are potentially affected by these disturbing allegations surrounding actor Stephen Collins," the network's president & CEO Charley Humbard tells Us Weekly in a statement. "7th Heaven has been a beloved family show and a fan-favorite on our network. We have made the decision to remove the series from our schedule effective at 5 p.m. ET today."
"We will continue to monitor the situation and listen carefully to our viewers," he continues to Us. "Replacing 7th Heaven tonight will be Supernanny, a series dedicated to bringing families together."
Earlier Tuesday, TMZ published an audiotape of Collins, 67, allegedly admitting to multiple instances of child molestation during a therapy session, which was taped by his estranged wife Faye Grant in secret back in 2012. Kim Y. Royster, Deputy Chief Commanding Officer, Public Information Division told Us that there is a "formal complaint on file" and the NYPD is currently investigating the matter.
In addition, Collins has been let go from his role in the film Ted 2 amid the allegations. According to The Wrap, he also resigned from the national board of SAG-AFTRA Tuesday.
