Out of sight, out of mind! It’s been over two years since Lydia McLaughlin left the Real Housewives of Orange County, but it seems like her former costar Shannon Beador is still harboring some bad feelings towards her.
“Shannon actually has blocked me on Instagram,” McLaughlin, 39, tells Us Weekly exclusively on the Friday, September 11, episode of the “Getting Real with the Housewives” podcast. “The last time I saw her was literally the reunion and we hugged and we looked at each other and just said, ‘Are we good? Yeah, we’re good’ and we hugged.”
She adds, “Then she called me the next day because there was stuff going on with her husband [now ex-husband, David Beador] and she thought I knew a bunch of stuff and wouldn’t tell her, and then she blocked me on Instagram.”
The former reality star, who recently launched Glitter Town, a new digital series for Bravo, revealed that she was not surprised that Beador is no longer friends with Tamra Judge.
“I’m assuming if she’s still on the show and Tamra’s not, they’re not going to be friends because they’re going to be mad about that,” McLaughlin tells Us. “That’s just my speculation. I just am saying from what I know from experience, but I don’t know anything because we are, I guess, 13, and I’ve been blocked.”
McLaughlin, who first joined in season 8, but left ahead of season 9 before returning as a full-time cast member for season 12, is now focusing on Glitter Town, which she stars IN alongside her mom, Judy Sterling.
“I think the world needs a little bit of glitter,” she tells Us. “A little bit of happiness of mindless entertainment right now.”
