Lydia McLaughlin

Lydia McLaughlin is a reality TV personality, magazine editor and entrepreneur best known for appearing on The Real Housewives of Orange County. McLaughlin was raised in Southern California, and she graduated with a bachelor’s degree from the University of San Diego in 2003.

Before her reality TV debut, McLaughlin worked in fashion and media. She cofounded and served as editor-in-chief of NOBLEMAN Magazine with her husband and also launched a luxury marketing and digital media business. She joined the cast of The Real Housewives of Orange County for season 8 in 2013 and left the following season due to a pregnancy. She later rejoined the cast for season 12 before parting ways with the show in 2017.

Outside of reality TV, McLaughlin is an author and penned her first book, Beyond Orange County, in 2015. She published her second book JoyFull: 365 Daily Devotions for Women in 2023.

The reality TV star also maintains a strong social media presence, where she often shares content about her family and Christian faith.

McLaughlin married Doug McLaughlin in 2006. The couple share sons Stirling, born in 2008, Maverick, born in 2010, and Roman, born in 2014.
