Cruel Intentions or perfect casting? Selma Blair has signed on to play Kris Jenner in the FX’s upcoming event series American Crime Story: The People V OJ Simpson, Entertainment Weekly reports.
The Anger Management star, 42, will play the now-famous momager in the miniseries, which will follow the 1994 court case of retired football star O.J. Simpson, who was on trial for the murder of his ex-wife Nicole Brown and Ronald Goldman.
Jenner, now 59, was recently divorced from Simpson’s attorney, the late Robert Kardashian (played by Friends star David Schwimmer), at the time of the headline-making trial. She was also friends with Brown.
Other already-announced cast members include John Travolta (Robert Shapiro), Cuba Gooding Jr. (O.J. Simpson), Connie Britton (Faye Resnick), Jordana Brewster (Denise Brown), and Sarah Paulson (Marcia Clark).
The event series is being executive produced by Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk (the team behind both Glee and American Horror Story). It is set to premiere in 2016 and has already begun filming.
