Ooh baby, baby! Kelly Clarkson and her 2-year-old daughter, River Rose, had an epic dance party in the kitchen — and it was all for a good cause.
The “Piece by Piece” singer, 34, posted a video on Twitter Tuesday, October 11, of herself and her toddler both wearing baseball caps and casual clothes.
“I’ve been dared by Melissa Peterman to do the Diabetes Dance Dare,” she said. “So I accepted your challenge — so does River Rose, she’s already ready. She’s prepping, this is her warm-up,” Clarkson explained as River broke it down before she even turned the music on.
The pair showed off their adorable dance moves to Salt-N-Pepa’s 1986 hit “Push It.” “This is totally inappropriate for a 2-year-old!” Clarkson jokes as they jump around for 23 seconds.
The American Idol alum challenged Gwen Stefani and the entire cast of The Voice, including Blake Shelton, Alicia Keys, Miley Cyrus and Adam Levine, to get it on the fun before officially starting the party.
The Diabetes Dance Dare helps raise money and awareness that every 23 seconds an American is diagnosed with diabetes.
Clarkson also shares a 6-month-old son, Remy, with husband Brandon Blackstock. She’s also stepmom to Blackstock’s two children, Seth and Savannah, from a previous relationship.
