He’s got a lot on his mind. Calvin Harris accidentally backed his car into a wall on Monday, June 27, as his ex-girlfriend Taylor Swift headed to Rome with her new beau, Tom Hiddleston.
The “This Is What You Came For” producer, 32, was leaving a Los Angeles gym when a photographer reportedly asked him, “Who are you dating now?” Harris ignored the question and got into his black Range Rover. He put the car in reverse to drive away, completely forgetting to close the rear door, which then hit a nearby brick wall.
According to TMZ, the Scottish DJ reportedly got angry at the paparazzi for the incident.
Later in the day, he took to Twitter to apologize, writing, “I got mad as hell at a paparazzi today. I’m sorry, you did make me back into a wall but I know you’re just doing your job and I apologize.”
Harris was previously involved in a more serious car crash on May 20 while traveling to a concert in Las Vegas. He was briefly hospitalized after suffering a laceration on his face and was forced to cancel multiple performances as a result.
More than 6,000 miles away, Swift, 26, had just touched down in Rome, Italy, on Monday afternoon on her private jet with Hiddleston, 35. The inseparable duo checked into a posh penthouse suite in one of the city’s most luxurious hotels.
As Us Weekly previously reported, the new couple — who also recently jetted to Rhode Island, Nashville and England — did some sightseeing at the Colosseum before heading to a nearby restaurant to grab lunch.
The “New Romantics” singer and the Avengers actor went public with their relationship on June 15 after photos of them kissing on the beach near Swift’s Rhode Island mansion surfaced online, just two weeks after she and Harris split after 15 months together.
