Gone but not forgotten. Mob Wives stars Renee Graziano, Carla Facciolo and Drita D’Avanzo took to social media to pay tribute to Big Ang after attending the late star’s visitation on Saturday, February 20.
The reality star died on Thursday, February 18, after battling stage IV lung and brain cancer. She was 55.
“If #bigang taught me anything it was to be thankful for my life long girlfriends,” Graziano, 47, captioned an Instagram photo. “And as you can see I’m happy to be with these amazing ladies reminiscing about our time with Ang.”
Facciolo reposted the same image with the caption, “A day we will never forget.”
As Us Weekly previously reported, Big Ang’s estranged husband, Neil Murphy, was one of the first visitors to show up to pay his respects at the Scarpaci Funeral Home in Brooklyn on Saturday. Earlier in the week, he tweeted, “I will always love you forever please watch over the grandkids I know you will,” along with a broken heart emoji.
D’Avanzo, who was “extremely distraught” at the visitation according to an attendee, took to Twitter to share her thanks, writing, “I just want to thank every1 for ur kind words and amazing support. It means the world to me right now. #ThankU.”
