All hail George and Amal! Between George Clooney’s long days of filming and his wife Amal’s work as a lawyer on high-profile human rights cases, the pair have a pretty packed schedule. But that doesn’t stop them from carving out quality time for each other.
George, 54, revealed the key to a happy marriage for the couple — who wed in Venice, Italy, in September 2014 — is not to spend too much time apart, and to take advantage of technology!
“FaceTime, we’ll do that, mostly it’s just try not to go very long.… We spend an awful lot of time together. We try not to have these huge gaps,” the actor told Extra’s Mario Lopez at the Los Angeles premiere for his new film, Hail, Caesar!, on Monday, February 1.
“We’re able to manage, so far, between my work and her work and the things we’re doing, we’re able to manage it pretty well.”
The always stylish barrister, 37, supported her husband at the premiere and stole the show with her faux-bob hairstyle and red-and-white minidress by Giambattista Valli Haute Couture.
The Tomorrowland star also dished to Us Weekly about the newest addition to his family — a basset hound the pair adopted in late October. “We got a couple of them. One for my mom and dad, and then one for us,” George said. “They came with names already. Millie for us, and Nate goes to my mom and dad.”
