Live and learn. Miranda Lambert could hardly contain her excitement over boyfriend Anderson East’s new song “Learning,” and shared a screen shot of the song playing on her phone on Friday, January 29.
“It takes a man to teach a man – @andersoneast @raytair,” she captioned the image. “Learning is out today! #SouthernFamily #whatasong #whatasinger.”
The new single, off the Southern Family compilation album (which will also feature Lambert, Zac Brown and Jason Isbell, among others), is a tribute to East’s father, who encouraged the singer to follow his dreams of becoming a musician.
Lambert, 32, hasn’t been shy about expressing her affection for East, 27.
Since the pair began dating toward the end of 2015, the Grammy winner has posted several subtle (and not-so-subtle!) nods to their burgeoning romance. (Lambert split with her husband of four years, Blake Shelton, in July; Shelton has since gone on to date his fellow Voice coach Gwen Stefani.)
“Somethin’ bout a boy from the south,” she captioned a video of two little pigs grazing on a ranch earlier this month, in reference to the Pistol Annies’ single “Boys From the South.” “#Bama @andersoneast @prissy_pig #piglovebiglove #Texasgirlinacrimsonworld #rolltide #hookemhorns.”
On New Year’s Day, Lambert even posted a photo of herself snuggling up to East while the pair wore matching knit hats.
“The snuggle is real,” she captioned the picture.
“She couldn’t have picked a better dude to have fun with,” a pal of East’s told Us. “Anderson is the coolest guy.”
