Miranda Lambert

Miranda Lambert is a Grammy-winning country music singer-songwriter known for her chart-topping albums and candid storytelling. Lambert was born in Longview, Texas, and raised in Lindale. She took a liking to music early on and began performing in local talent shows and honky-tonks. After graduating high school, she chose to pursue a full-time music career.

Lambert first rose to national prominence in 2003 as a finalist on Nashville Star, placing third. Although she did not win the competition, the exposure led to a record deal and the release of her debut album, Kerosene, in 2005. The album was a commercial success and established her as a new voice in country music, known for blending traditional influences with modern edge.

Over the years, Lambert released a string of successful albums, including Crazy Ex-Girlfriend (2007), Platinum (2014) and Wildcard (2019). She has earned over 30 Grammy nominations throughout her career, earning her first win in 2011 for Best Female Country Vocal Performance. In addition to her solo work, she is a member of the supergroup Pistol Annies alongside singers Ashley Monroe and Angaleena Presley.

Lambert married fellow country singer Blake Shelton in 2011 before the pair divorced in 2015. She moved on with Anderson East and the two split in 2018. In 2019, she tied the knot with former NYPD officer Brendan McLoughlin.
