About
Luke Combs is a country music singer-songwriter known for his powerful vocals and relatable lyrics. Raised in Asheville, Combs developed a love for music early on and attended Appalachian State University before leaving to pursue his music career.
After moving to Nashville in 2014, he gained attention with his debut single “Hurricane,” which led to a contract with Columbia Records. His debut album, This One’s for You (2017), broke records with five No. 1 singles on Billboard’s Country Airplay chart. Subsequent albums, including What You See Is What You Get (2019), Growin’ Up (2022) and Gettin’ Old (2023), solidified his status as a country music powerhouse.
Combs married Nicole Hocking in August 2020 and the couple share two sons, Tex Lawrence (born June 2022) and Beau Lee (born August 2023). His family life has inspired much of his music, including his 2024 album, Fathers & Sons. With multiple Country Music Association and Academy of Country Music awards.
