Trisha Yearwood is a country singer, author and television personality. Yearwood rose to fame with her 1991 debut single “She’s in Love with the Boy,” which topped the Billboard country charts. Her self-titled debut album became the first by a female country artist to sell over 2 million copies. Over her illustrious career, Yearwood has won three Grammy Awards, two Country Music Association Awards and two Academy of Country Music Awards. In 2024, she received the ACM Honors Icon Award, with her husband, Garth Brooks, who she married in December 2005. (Yearwood is stepmother to Brooks’ three daughters.)

Beyond music, Yearwood is a best-selling cookbook author and hosted the Food Network series Trisha’s Southern Kitchen for a decade. Known for her philanthropy, she received the June Carter Cash Humanitarian Award in 2024 and has partnered with Brooks on various charitable projects, including Habitat for Humanity. The couple performed John Lennon‘s “Imagine” at former President Jimmy Carter‘s funeral in January 2025.
