Kendra Wilkinson

Born in San Diego, Calif., on June 12, 1985, former Playboy Playmate Kendra Wilkinson rose to fame as one of Hugh Hefner‘s three main girlfriends on E!’s The Girls Next Door. Wilkinson first met Hefner at his 78th birthday party in 2004, and was asked to move into the mansion along with fellow girlfriends Holly Madison and Bridget Marquardt shortly thereafter.

As a result of the hit reality series, Wilkinson parlayed her fame into other entertainment ventures, including a stint on the MTV reality competition Celebrity Rap Superstar in 2007, where she earned second place behind Shar Jackson. She also appeared in music videos for Akon and Nickelback and had guest starring roles on HBO’s Entourage and the 2008 film, The House Bunny.

In November 2008, Hefner announced Wilkinson’s engagement to Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Hank Baskett, making her the first Girl Next Door to publicly split with Hefner. Their wedding took place at the Playboy Mansion on June 27, 2009, the same month as Wilkinson’s spinoff reality show, Kendra, premiered on the E! network. She gave birth to their first child, Hank Baskett IV, in December 2009.

Wilkinson filed for divorce on April 6, 2018.

Wilkinson has since opened up about her battles with mental health since her split from Baskett.
